Staying at Terre Blanche Resort, A European Tour Destination
Updated: Jul 15
I had the chance to visit the famous and incredible 5-star Golf resort set in the French Riviera that boasts two championship golf courses and an amazing academy.
The Resort, set in the hills of the French Riviera is one of Europe’s top resorts, this magnificent 5-star hotel, spa and golf resort is also part of the European Tour Destinations. Located in Tourrettes, 35 minutes northwest of Cannes. It means you can enjoy time on the French Riviera and visit the beautiful lake of St Cassien very close to the resort.
What I Love :
The huge and sublime infinity pool
The spa, royal and sumptuous !
Of course, the 2 Golf courses (voted best golf course in Europe with its two 18-hole courses)
Gastronomy (4 restaurants including 1 starred) for the pleasure of the taste buds.
The quality of the service and the kindness of the staff always taking care of us
There is so much to say about this exceptional Resort that I find it hard to know where to start.
The suite was very large and pleasant, with a large sunny terrace, of course I took advantage of the swimming pools and the beauty of the place, it feels like in a pretty little Provencal village, I loved the works of art (from the owner's personal collection), sculptures and paintings, which can be seen all over the estate, you have the impression of walking through an open-air museum, it's very nice. The atmosphere is incredible, it is very luxurious but not at all ostentatious.
It's huge, and everything is intelligently thought out, including the management of the surrounding hundreds of hectares, which is part of an eco-responsible approach where everything is done to preserve this green gem.
Two championship courses have been designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 2000.
The Chateau course (pictures above) previously hosted Senior European Tour events, while the Le Riou course (pictures below) is reserved for hotel residents, members and their guests and recently hosted an event on the ladies tour equivalent to the Challenge Tour.
Both amazing courses immaculately maintained and incredibly spectacular
Le Riou - the private course that's only available to resort guests and members was my favorite course.
It isn't as long or as difficult or as celebrated as Le Chateau, but it might deliver the more enjoyable round of golf.
Its hilly terrain provides better vistas of the surrounding countryside in Provence. As hard as it is to climb some of the these hills to score well, the 6,567-yard course tends to give back strokes on the downhill holes, like nos. 1, 7, 16 and 18.
If you’re in need or some relaxation after a day on the fairway, or you are simply not a golfer, there is an amazing spa with 12 treatments rooms, a heated indoor pool and outdoors vitality pool. Neatly tucked away in its own Bastide, the spa is a peaceful escape from the summer sun.
Terre Blanche is perfect for golfers and non golfers wanting to combine Golf, luxury and privacy with amazing facilities.
This place is a definitely a golfer’s paradise !
I can say, I was able to create so many nice videos and trickshots ! Stay tuned to enjoy my next posts on social media !
