The biggest event of the golfing season in France, the Open de France is one of the most important stages of the European Tour. Every year, in late June to early July, the world’s greatest players come together for three days on the Albatros course at Le Golf National.
Launched in 1906, the Open de France has belonged to the European circuit since it was created in 1972. Since it began, the famous tournament has boasted an impressive list of winners and has welcomed the biggest names in golf. The Open is played in 4 rounds of 18 holes. It is a tough and demanding circuit that is remarkable for its hilly terrain dotted with water obstacles and bunkers.
